Coach — Lead Supervisor in Myrtle Beach, SC. Lead the sales floor, coach staff and drive KPIs at Coach (Myrtle Beach South).
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain visible leadership on the sales floor to drive sales targets and deliver an elevated client experience.
- Act as a Brand Ambassador, modelling Coach values and promoting brand awareness among customers and team members.
- Implement company initiatives and ensure smooth day-to-day store operations, including merchandising and stockroom coordination.
- Coach, develop and hold the team accountable through recruiting, interviewing, training, performance evaluations and individual development plans.
- Monitor and analyse sales data and KPIs, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve store performance.
- Create and sustain a customer-centric culture; mentor the team on clienteling strategies to build long-term customer relationships.
- Provide HR support and conflict resolution in the absence of senior leadership and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support physical tasks associated with retail operations, including moving stock and fixtures as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of supervisory experience in a competitive retail environment at a lead or supervisor level.
- Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop retail teams to meet sales and service KPIs.
- Demonstrable customer-centric mindset with experience in clienteling and delivering luxury customer service.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyse sales data, identify trends and execute improvement strategies.
- Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and to bend, climb, kneel and manoeuvre the sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of one year in a supervisory or lead role within a competitive retail environment; prior experience in fashion or luxury retail is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or retail management coursework preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA, with easy access to Charleston.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 16 to USD 24.75 per hour.
