Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide visible leadership on the sales floor to drive achievement of store sales targets and KPIs while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador for Coach, promoting brand values and increasing brand awareness in-store and within the local market.
  • Implement company initiatives and ensure smooth day-to-day store operations, including adherence to store procedures and compliance with company policies.
  • Recruit, interview and onboard new team members; deliver high-level training and ongoing development to increase individual and store performance.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data and trends; make actionable recommendations to improve store results and customer engagement.
  • Coach and mentor sales associates on clienteling strategies to build long-term customer relationships and maximize lifetime value.
  • Provide feedback, performance evaluations and corrective coaching; hold team members accountable for meeting individual and business objectives.
  • Support HR matters and resolve internal conflicts in the absence of senior leadership, championing resources that promote a healthy work environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ year of equivalent experience managing a competitive retail environment at the lead/supervisor level.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop retail teams to meet sales goals and deliver superior customer service.
  • Demonstrated competence in using sales metrics to drive decisions and implement corrective actions.
  • Ability to perform physical duties regularly: lift and carry at least 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally), bend, climb, kneel and maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom.

Experience
