Coach seeks Lead Supervisor in Gilroy, California for full-time retail leadership role managing sales operations and team performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate retail sales team to achieve performance targets and maintain high morale
- Manage day-to-day sales floor operations, customer engagement, and service standards
- Oversee stockroom management, inventory accuracy, and merchandise placement
- Provide direct coaching and feedback to team members on sales performance and customer focus
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor and report on team metrics, sales performance, and operational efficiency
- Facilitate communication between store management and frontline sales associates
- Execute visual merchandising directives and maintain store presentation standards
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership experience in retail or hospitality environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs regularly
- Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver across sales and stockroom areas
- Proven track record of exceeding performance goals
- Customer-focused mindset with commitment to service excellence
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including evenings and weekends
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role within retail, luxury retail, or hospitality preferred. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective team dynamics while driving sales performance.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail management training or certifications a plus.
