Coach in Bethesda, MD (Montgomery Mall) seeks a Lead Supervisor to lead the sales floor, drive KPIs and develop retail teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide visible leadership on the sales floor to drive sales targets, customer satisfaction and brand presentation.
- Implement company initiatives and store operational procedures to ensure business continuity and compliance.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and KPIs, identify trends, and recommend actions to optimise store results.
- Recruit, interview and support team performance management including coaching, training and feedback delivery.
- Develop and mentor sales associates on clienteling strategies to build long-term customer relationships.
- Act as HR first-response and resolve conflicts; support district-level HR needs in absence of store leadership.
- Enforce company policies and foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture aligned with Coach values.
- Perform physical store duties as required, including merchandising, stockroom organisation and lifting product/fixtures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ year of equivalent experience managing a competitive retail space at a lead or supervisor level.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving KPIs in a retail environment.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching, delivering performance feedback and developing retail talent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom; regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of supervisory or lead-store experience in a competitive retail environment, with direct responsibility for sales performance and team coaching.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or formal retail/management training preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17 to USD 27.75 per hour.
