Lead Cashier at Coach, Williamsburg VA. Part-time luxury retail position with POS, customer service, and team mentoring. $15–$19.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service at checkout; greet customers warmly and create a lasting impression through genuine brand interactions
- Serve as ambassador for the Insider Program; promote add-on sales and gift cards to enhance customer lifetime value
- Maintain operational accuracy in cash handling, media management, and strict compliance with all financial and procedural policies
- Process returns, repairs, and damaged goods according to company standards; complete end-of-shift audits with management supervision
- Maintain cashwrap organization and cleanliness; monitor all equipment and report technical issues promptly to management
- Assist in training and mentoring cashiers to uphold service excellence and operational best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated familiarity with POS systems, mobile technology, and basic computer skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple simultaneous demands
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs. (up to 50 lbs. occasionally); capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom

Experience
1+ years of cashier or retail experience; luxury retail background preferred. A combination of relevant education and hands-on retail experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or customer service certification welcome but not required.
