Coach is hiring a Lead Cashier in Tsawwassen Mills, BC. Full-time retail role focused on cash handling, POS operation and delivering Coach service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, efficient customer service at the cashwrap and in queue, acting as an ambassador for the Insider loyalty program.
- Operate POS and Mobile POS systems to process sales, returns, repairs, and exchanges accurately and in accordance with policy.
- Maintain cash handling integrity: reconcile till, complete end-of-shift audits, and report discrepancies or equipment faults.
- Suggest add-ons and promote gift cards to maximize average transaction value while preserving a client-focused approach.
- Ensure SKU accuracy, orderly presentation and cleanliness of the cashwrap and adjacent selling areas.
- Train and mentor fellow cashiers on procedures, Coach service standards, and point-of-sale operation.
- Demonstrate composure under pressure: multitask, prioritize, and adapt service to differing customer needs and high-traffic periods.
- Uphold brand standards by representing Coach per the Guide to Style and Service and maintaining up-to-date product and policy knowledge.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to operate POS systems and Mobile POS (iPad/laptop), and to use store communication devices (walkie-talkie).
- Strong verbal communication skills in English and the ability to influence customer decisions confidently.
- Capacity to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and manage stockroom and sales floor tasks.

Experience
At least 1 year of customer-facing sales experience; prior luxury or specialty retail experience and demonstrated cash-handling/POS proficiency preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
Workplace
This position is based in Tsawwassen, British Columbia, Canada, within easy reach of Vancouver.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 19 to CAD 22 per hour.
