Coach Lead Cashier position in Texas City, Texas. Deliver exceptional service, manage transactions, and mentor team members at luxury retailer.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service at checkout; greet customers warmly and create a lasting impression
- Promote the Insider Program, add-on sales, and gift cards to enhance transaction value
- Maintain accuracy in cash handling, media management, and strict compliance with all company policies
- Process returns, repairs, and damaged goods according to company standards; complete end-of-shift audits with management
- Keep the cashwrap organized and clean; monitor equipment and report issues promptly
- Assist in training and mentoring cashiers to uphold service and operational excellence
- Lift and maneuver merchandise (up to 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally); work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and peak retail periods
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in cashier or retail roles
- Luxury retail experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and mobile technology
- Basic computer skills
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays
Skills
Experience
1+ years in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and retail experience will be considered.
