Coach Lead Cashier I position in Sunbury, Ohio. Lead cashwrap operations, process transactions, and mentor junior staff in this retail leadership role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and act as an ambassador for the Coach Insider Program
  • Engage customers at the cashwrap and in line; assess needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Capture and secure customer information accurately with professionalism and attention to detail
  • Complete end-of-shift audits with precision; process returns, repairs, and damaged items per established policy
  • Maintain SKU accuracy, cashwrap organization, and cleanliness standards throughout shifts
  • Suggest complementary products and actively promote gift cards to enhance customer value
  • Handle cash and payment media accurately; deliver purchases with care and attention
  • Train and mentor junior cashiers on POS operations, service standards, and procedures
  • Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate with support teams promptly
  • Demonstrate integrity, ownership, and collaborative spirit within the team
  • Maintain composure under pressure; multitask and prioritize effectively in high-traffic periods

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and payment processing
  • Basic computer competency including iPad, laptop, and Mobile POS platforms
  • Familiarity with walkie-talkie communication systems in retail environments
  • Ability to read and interpret price sheets and release documentation
  • Capacity to lift 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Physical ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
