Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service at checkout by greeting customers warmly and creating positive, lasting impressions
• Act as an ambassador for the Insider Program by promoting membership enrollment, add-on sales, and gift card purchases
• Maintain accuracy in cash handling, media management, and strict compliance with all financial and operational policies
• Process returns, repairs, and damaged goods according to company standards and complete end-of-shift audits with management
• Keep the cashwrap area organized and clean; monitor point-of-sale equipment and report technical issues promptly
• Assist in training and mentoring junior cashiers to uphold service and operational excellence standards
• Manage flexible scheduling to accommodate business needs, including evenings, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of experience in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems, mobile technology, and basic computer skills
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong English language proficiency
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom areas

Skills

Experience

1+ years of cashier or retail experience; luxury retail background is preferred but not mandatory. A combination of relevant education and hands-on retail experience will be considered.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail certifications or customer service training is advantageous but not required.

Workplace

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 15.50 to CAD 20 per hour.
