Coach is hiring a Lead Cashier in Richmond, BC. Lead cashwrap operations, deliver luxury customer service, and support cashier training at Designer Outlet Vancouver.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, efficient service at the cashwrap and in queue, representing the brand and the Insider loyalty programme.
  • Operate POS and Mobile POS devices to process sales, returns, repairs, and exchanges accurately and securely.
  • Manage cash and payment media with strict accuracy; complete end-of-shift audits and reconcile transactions.
  • Maintain SKU accuracy, cashwrap organisation, and a tidy, merchandised point of sale.
  • Capture and record customer information in accordance with data security and company policy.
  • Suggest add-on items and promote gift cards to maximise basket value.
  • Assist with onboarding and informal training of cashiers; escalate equipment or technical issues to management.
  • Remain composed under pressure: multitask, prioritise, and adapt service to customer needs while maintaining situational awareness.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. Combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven ability to operate POS systems, Mobile POS and iPad-based sales tools; familiarity with walkie‑talkie use.
  • Clear English communication skills sufficient for customer service and team coordination.
  • Capacity to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend, kneel and navigate sales floor and stockroom.

Experience
