Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and serve as an ambassador for the Coach Insider Program
  • Engage customers at the point-of-sale and assess needs to provide tailored solutions
  • Capture and verify customer information with accuracy and security compliance
  • Complete end-of-shift audits, process returns and damaged items according to policy
  • Maintain SKU accuracy, point-of-sale organization, and cleanliness standards
  • Suggest add-ons and promote gift cards to enhance transaction value
  • Handle cash and alternative payment methods accurately and deliver purchases appropriately
  • Train and support fellow cashiers, demonstrating best practices and procedures
  • Report equipment issues and coordinate repairs with management
  • Demonstrate integrity, ownership, and collaboration with the retail team
  • Remain composed under pressure, multitask effectively, and prioritize competing demands
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, influencing customer purchasing decisions
  • Adapt service approach to customer preferences and maintain environmental awareness
  • Master new point-of-sale systems and technology platforms
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products, store policies, and procedures

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer competency (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS)
  • Demonstrated ability to operate walkie-talkie systems and read price/release sheets
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
  • Capacity to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver across sales floor and stockroom
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods

Experience
