Coach Lead Cashier in Merrimack, New Hampshire—luxury retail POS leadership role, $15–$19.50/hr, full-time.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and serve as an Insider Program ambassador, creating positive first impressions
- Engage customers at cashwrap and in line, assessing needs and providing tailored solutions
- Capture customer information accurately and securely, maintaining data integrity
- Complete end-of-shift audits and reconciliation; process returns, repairs, and damaged items in accordance with policy
- Maintain SKU accuracy, cashwrap organization, and cleanliness standards
- Suggest add-on products and actively promote gift cards to enhance transaction value
- Handle cash and payment media accurately while delivering purchases appropriately
- Assist with cashier training and onboarding of new team members
- Report equipment issues and maintain point-of-sale system reliability
- Demonstrate integrity, ownership, and collaboration in all interactions
- Remain composed under pressure, multitask effectively, and prioritize competing demands
- Communicate clearly and confidently while influencing customer purchasing decisions
- Adapt service approach to individual customer needs and maintain environmental awareness
- Operate POS systems and mobile platforms with proficiency and eagerness to learn new technologies
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and adherence to store policies and Coach brand standards
- Represent Coach authentically as a brand ambassador, upholding style and service guidelines
Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience in luxury retail or comparable customer-facing environment
- Demonstrated POS system expertise and proficiency with iPad, laptop, and mobile point-of-sale platforms
- Strong foundational computer skills and comfort with walkie-talkie communication
- Proven ability to read and interpret price sheets, release sheets, and inventory documentation
- Exceptional ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment
- Fluent English language proficiency
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and peak retail periods
- Physical capability to lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom

Experience
2+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail; demonstrated expertise with POS operations and mobile payment systems; knowledge of fashion trends and competitive retail landscape.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of relevant education and retail experience considered.
