Lead Cashier at Coach in McAllen, Texas – luxury retail point-of-sale specialist with customer service focus. Part-time, $15–$18.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service at checkout, greeting customers warmly and creating lasting impressions through genuine interactions
- Promote Coach's Insider Program and drive add-on sales including gift cards and loyalty enrollment
- Maintain accuracy in cash handling, payment processing, media management, and strict compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Process returns, repairs, and damaged merchandise according to established standards; complete end-of-shift audits with management
- Keep the cashwrap area organized, clean, and fully stocked; monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance issues promptly
- Assist in training and mentoring junior cashiers to uphold service excellence and operational consistency across the sales floor
Qualifications
- 1+ years of cashier or retail experience; luxury retail background preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems and mobile point-of-sale technology
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with retail management software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment with flexibility
- Strong English language proficiency
- Physical capability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver between sales floor and stockroom

Experience
1+ years in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional retail or hospitality training a plus
