Coach is seeking a Lead Cashier to deliver efficient, welcoming service, manage Cashwrap operations, and support cashier training while maintaining store and service standards. The role requires at least one year of sales experience, with luxury retail preferred, and a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, peak season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and serve as an Insider Program ambassador.
- Engage customers at the Cashwrap and in line, assess their needs, and provide solutions.
- Capture customer information accurately and securely.
- Complete end-of-shift audits and process returns, repairs, and damaged items in accordance with policy.
- Maintain SKU accuracy, Cashwrap organization, and cleanliness.
- Suggest add-on purchases and promote gift cards.
- Handle cash and other payment media accurately and deliver purchases appropriately.
- Assist with cashier training and report equipment issues.
- Demonstrate integrity, ownership, and collaboration.
- Remain composed under pressure, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
- Communicate clearly and confidently and influence customer decisions.
- Adapt to customer needs and remain aware of the surroundings.
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and adhere to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of fashion trends and competitors.
- Experience operating POS systems and using walkie-talkies; basic computer proficiency, including iPad, laptop, and Mobile POS; ability to read price/release sheets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
- Strong English proficiency for EU roles.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
