Coach is hiring a Lead Cashier in Katy, Texas. Part-time role combining customer service excellence with team supervision in luxury retail. $15–$19.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service at checkout by greeting customers warmly and creating a lasting impression aligned with Coach Service standards
- Act as an ambassador for the Insider Program, promoting add-on sales, gift cards, and membership enrollment
- Maintain accuracy in cash handling, media management, payment processing, and compliance with all company policies
- Process returns, repairs, and damaged goods according to company standards; complete end-of-shift audits with management
- Keep the cashwrap organized and clean; monitor POS equipment and report technical issues promptly to management
- Train, mentor, and supervise cashiers to uphold operational excellence and service quality standards
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems, mobile technology platforms, and basic computer applications
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment
- Excellent English language proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally); ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom areas
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays as business needs require
Skills
Experience
1+ years in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience is preferred. The role values practical experience in fast-paced retail environments with demonstrated customer service excellence and operational competency.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of relevant education and retail experience will be considered.
