Coach is hiring a part-time Cashier in Halton Hills, Ontario. Join Coach/Tapestry to deliver exceptional customer service at the cashwrap.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, efficient customer service at the cashwrap; greet clients and create a memorable brand impression.
- Operate the point-of-sale to complete sales transactions, process returns and repairs, and handle damaged-goods procedures in accordance with company standards.
- Promote the Insider loyalty programme, add-on sales and gift card purchases to support revenue and client retention goals.
- Maintain strict accuracy in cash handling, payment media management and end-of-shift audits; ensure compliance with all policies and loss-prevention procedures.
- Keep the cashwrap and surrounding area orderly and operational; monitor POS equipment and report faults promptly.
- Support team development by assisting in training and mentoring junior cashiers to uphold service and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, mobile technology and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform repetitive bending, climbing and stockroom tasks.
- Strong command of English to interact with customers and complete transactional procedures.

Experience
At least 1 year of cashier or retail experience is required; prior experience in luxury retail or high-end customer service is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of relevant education and retail experience will be considered.

This position is based in Halton Hills, Ontario, Canada, within easy reach of Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
