Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and act as Insider Program ambassador
- Engage customers at cashwrap and assess their needs to provide tailored solutions
- Capture customer information accurately and securely
- Complete end-of-shift audits, process returns, repairs, and damaged items per policy
- Maintain SKU accuracy, cashwrap organization, and cleanliness standards
- Suggest add-on products and actively promote gift cards
- Handle cash and payment media accurately; deliver purchases appropriately
- Provide training and support to junior cashiers
- Report equipment issues and troubleshoot POS problems
- Demonstrate integrity, ownership, and collaboration with the store team
- Remain composed under pressure and effectively multitask during peak retail periods
- Communicate clearly and confidently to influence customer decisions
- Adapt to customer needs and maintain situational awareness on the sales floor
- Master new retail technology systems and point-of-sale platforms
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and adherence to Coach service standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and mobile POS platforms
- Basic computer literacy (iPad, laptop, tablet)
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume retail environments
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Physical capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1+ years of sales experience in retail, preferably in the luxury fashion or apparel sector. Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive retail landscape is advantageous. Experience with POS systems, price sheets, and retail operations procedures is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of relevant retail education and demonstrated sales experience will be considered.
