Coach Lead Cashier position in Byron Center, Michigan—deliver customer service excellence and manage retail operations with competitive compensation and full benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service at checkout; greet customers warmly and create lasting positive impressions
- Promote the Insider Program, gift cards, and add-on sales opportunities
- Maintain accuracy in cash handling, media management, and strict compliance with all policies and procedures
- Process returns, repairs, and damaged goods according to company standards; complete end-of-shift audits with management
- Keep the cashwrap organized and clean; monitor equipment functionality and report any issues promptly
- Assist in training and mentoring cashiers to uphold service excellence and operational accuracy
- Manage flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in cashier or retail roles
- Luxury retail experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems, mobile technology, and basic computer skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong English language proficiency
- Physical capability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and maneuver sales floor and stockroom areas

Experience
Minimum 1+ years in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
