Coach is hiring a Lead Cashier II for a part-time role at San Francisco Premium Outlets in Livermore, California. The role leads customer-facing Cashwrap service, payment processing, audits, store upkeep and cashier training, with a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays. Base pay is $15.00–$21.75 per hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and serve as an Insider Program ambassador.
- Engage customers at the Cashwrap and in line, assess their needs, and provide solutions.
- Capture customer information accurately and securely.
- Complete end-of-shift audits and process returns, repairs, and damaged items according to policy.
- Maintain SKU accuracy, Cashwrap organization, and cleanliness.
- Suggest add-on purchases and promote gift cards.
- Handle cash and other forms of payment accurately, and deliver purchases appropriately.
- Assist with cashier training and report equipment issues.
- Demonstrate integrity, ownership, and collaboration.
- Remain composed under pressure, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
- Communicate clearly and confidently, and influence customer decisions.
- Adapt to customer needs and maintain awareness of the surrounding environment.
- Learn new systems and apply technology effectively.
- Maintain knowledge of products, store policies, and procedures.
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador while adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak season, high-traffic retail days, and public holidays.
- Regularly lift at least 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.; climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver throughout the sales floor and stockroom.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of fashion trends and competitors.
- Experience operating POS systems; basic computer proficiency, including iPad, laptop, and Mobile POS; walkie-talkie use; ability to read price/release sheets.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
