Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily cashier operations to ensure accurate, efficient point-of-sale transactions and exceptional client service.
  • Train, mentor and schedule front-of-house cashiers; monitor performance and provide ongoing coaching to uphold brand service standards.
  • Reconcile cash drawers, prepare deposits, and perform end-of-day reporting with meticulous attention to accuracy and compliance.
  • Implement and enforce loss-prevention procedures, cash-handling policies and audit-ready documentation.
  • Serve as the first escalation point for complex transactions, client inquiries and operational exceptions; liaise with store management on inventory and sales issues.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising standards and client experience initiatives during peak periods and promotional events.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of retail cashier experience, including supervisory or lead responsibilities in a fast-paced store environment.
  • Proven ability to manage cash reconciliation, POS exceptions and daily financial controls with high integrity.
  • Strong numeracy, attention to detail and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to prioritize competing tasks.
  • Availability to work a retail schedule, including weekends, evenings and holiday periods.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-centric orientation and the ability to coach small teams.

Experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or retail management training preferred.
