Coach General Manager in Grand Prairie, Texas—luxury retail leadership role managing sales, operations, and team development. $62K–$94K annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Set and track sales and productivity goals; adjust strategies based on market trends and business shifts
- Forecast sales, plan payroll, and align hiring plans with business needs
- Partner with leadership and corporate teams to implement operational processes and ensure product flow
- Model and coach selling and service standards; lead team selling and floor leadership
- Develop clienteling strategies to build long-term customer relationships and enhance brand loyalty
- Act as a trusted fashion advisor and share trend and styling insights with the team and customers
- Resolve customer issues promptly with a solution-oriented and consultative approach
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent; maintain strong bench strength and succession planning
- Evaluate performance, provide constructive feedback, and create development action plans for direct reports
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, high-energy culture; recognize and reward performance
- Own daily operations including scheduling, payroll, inventory management, HR functions, and loss prevention
- Maintain store presentation standards and ensure adherence to POS and operational policies
- Utilize retail systems and reporting tools effectively to drive business insights
- Communicate clearly and professionally; model active listening with staff and stakeholders
- Build trusting relationships with peers and corporate partners; keep leadership informed on strategic matters
- Uphold ethics, compliance, and alignment with company goals and brand values
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Store Manager experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Proven track record in sales strategy development and execution
- Demonstrated success in clienteling and customer relationship management
- Strong team development and mentoring capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with retail management systems and POS platforms
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally); ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
3+ years as a Store Manager in a retail environment, with preference for luxury retail experience. Proven ability to drive sales strategies, develop and implement clienteling programs, and build and mentor high-performing retail teams. Experience with market analysis, forecasting, and operational execution required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of relevant education and retail management experience will be considered.
