Coach seeks a Temporary Sales Support Associate in New York, NY — support luxury retail sales, client service, merchandising and stockroom operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, personalised client service on the sales floor to support store KPIs and conversion targets.
  • Assist full-time sales staff with clienteling activities, appointment coordination and follow-up communications.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) transactions, process returns/exchanges and manage till reconciliations with accuracy.
  • Support visual merchandising standards: execute on-floor resets, maintain product presentation and replenish stock to uphold brand aesthetics.
  • Receive, unpack and process deliveries; perform inventory counts and support stockroom organisation and cycle counts.
  • Prepare and support store events and product launches, including merchandising set-up and guest reception.
  • Maintain loss-prevention protocols and adhere to company procedures for cash handling and secure stock movement.
  • Perform light administrative tasks such as reporting, filing, and updating client records in CRM systems as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer-facing retail experience; experience with luxury or premium brands preferred.
  • Proven numeracy and cash-handling accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling including weekends, evenings and peak retail periods.
  • Authorised to work in the United States (if local labour eligibility applies).
  • Professional presentation consistent with luxury retail standards.

Experience
