Coach in New York seeks a Temporary Sales Support Associate to assist store sales, clienteling and merchandising for a dynamic retail team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team on the shop floor by greeting clients, assisting with product selection and delivering elevated customer service consistent with brand standards.
  • Operate the point-of-sale terminal to process sales, exchanges and returns accurately and handle cash and card transactions following store procedures.
  • Perform clienteling activities, including building and maintaining client records, following up on leads and supporting appointment management as directed by the store team.
  • Assist with visual merchandising and daily floor resets to maintain store presentation and adherence to brand visual standards.
  • Manage stock replenishment, receive and unpack deliveries, perform inventory counts and maintain back-of-house organisation.
  • Complete basic administrative and back-office tasks such as filing, preparing sales reports and supporting loss-prevention procedures.
  • Support opening and closing procedures, including store walk-throughs, cash reconciliation and secure handling of merchandise.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a polished, client-oriented manner appropriate for a luxury retail environment.
  • Proven ability to handle cash and operate a POS system with accuracy and discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability and the capacity to follow brand merchandising and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
  • Right to work in the United States and ability to meet physical demands of retail (standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs).

Experience

Entry-level role; 0–2 years of retail experience preferred. Prior experience in luxury or premium-brand retail is advantageous but not mandatory.
