Coach Japan seeks Financial Analyst for Tokyo retail finance role. FP&A, forecasting, and sales analysis in luxury fashion.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support periodic financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for Coach Japan business
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making and fulfill requests from business partners
- Develop and support creation of bottom-up sales plans and forecasts for Coach Japan by sales channel
- Support development of company-wide annual forecasts and long-range planning
- Synthesize and explain daily and weekly sales performance against plans and targets for leadership review
- Communicate performance variances and plans to key internal partners to align product planning, buying, and expense planning
- Support proposal and analysis of sales-driving promotional initiatives
- Conduct financial analysis on store-related capital expenditure investments
- Collaborate with internal partners on special projects and operational initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven analytical and critical thinking capabilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Vlookup, Sumif, and pivot tables)
- Business-level Japanese language proficiency (N1 or equivalent); intermediate business-level English (reading and listening required; speaking and writing preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with peers and senior management
- Ability to build trust-based relationships with internal partners and work effectively as a team member
- Strong professional presence and executive demeanor

Experience
3+ years of corporate finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), management consulting, or relevant experience in financial institutions
Education
University degree in Finance or Economics; CPA or CFA qualifications are preferred
