Coach Japan seeks Financial Analyst for Tokyo retail finance role. FP&A, forecasting, and sales analysis in luxury fashion.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support periodic financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual) for Coach Japan business
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making and fulfill requests from business partners
  • Develop and support creation of bottom-up sales plans and forecasts for Coach Japan by sales channel
  • Support development of company-wide annual forecasts and long-range planning
  • Synthesize and explain daily and weekly sales performance against plans and targets for leadership review
  • Communicate performance variances and plans to key internal partners to align product planning, buying, and expense planning
  • Support proposal and analysis of sales-driving promotional initiatives
  • Conduct financial analysis on store-related capital expenditure investments
  • Collaborate with internal partners on special projects and operational initiatives

Qualifications

  • Proven analytical and critical thinking capabilities
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Vlookup, Sumif, and pivot tables)
  • Business-level Japanese language proficiency (N1 or equivalent); intermediate business-level English (reading and listening required; speaking and writing preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills with peers and senior management
  • Ability to build trust-based relationships with internal partners and work effectively as a team member
  • Strong professional presence and executive demeanor

Experience
