Coach District Manager role overseeing 10 outlet stores, based in Allen, Texas, with a $130,000–$175,000 base pay range.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the district’s outlet business, including customer service, clienteling sales, team development, and operations.
  • Ensure a consistent modern luxury store experience and uphold Coach standards and values across 10 Coach Outlet stores.
  • Partner with the buying team to share insights on customers and market competition.
  • Lead and motivate teams across the district.
  • Develop store management teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
  • Manage with integrity, honesty, fairness, and knowledge, promoting Coach’s culture, values, and vision.
  • Plan, identify, communicate, and delegate key responsibilities and practices to ensure smooth district operations.
  • Review store environments and business indicators, identify issues and opportunities, and coach store management teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service in area stores.
  • Work with Multi-Managers and Store Managers to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Recognize and motivate top sellers and employees who deliver excellent customer service, serving as a role model for both.
  • Interview, screen, hire, coach, and counsel Multi-Managers, Store Managers, and Associate Managers when appropriate, in accordance with Coach policies.
  • Delegate duties and responsibilities to foster ownership and improve store operating efficiency.
  • Ensure consistent management, operational practices, and customer service across area stores.
  • Implement Coach training programs, hold regular staff meetings, initiate on-the-job training, and supervise and train management teams to develop their managerial skills.
  • Ensure stores present merchandise to maximize sales and merchandise turn while reflecting Coach’s corporate direction; partner with store management and retail merchandising, planning, and allocation.
  • Stay current on product ranges and educate staff about competitors’ product offerings.
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate inventory records.
  • Funnel product improvement ideas and feedback to corporate.
  • Communicate market-related issues effectively to Coach senior management and partner on solutions.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in an upscale retail environment, including 2–4 years as a multi-store manager; previous Coach multi-store management experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess issues proactively, develop action steps, and resolve problems.
  • Ability to consider multiple perspectives and reach logical conclusions that best serve Coach as a whole.
