Coach Coffee Shop Manager position in Woodbury Commons, NY. Oversee operations, lead teams, manage financials. $75–$80K annual.
Role & Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and mentor coffee shop staff to uphold company standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Monitor sales performance, manage budgets, control expenses, and track cash flow to ensure revenue targets are met
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, cleaning, light maintenance, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and food sanitation standards
- Maintain high-quality standards for coffee and food preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes and preparation guidelines
- Implement customer feedback to improve service quality, address complaints promptly, and promote brand values and customer loyalty
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, payroll, and performance metrics; prepare regular reports
- Conduct safety and sanitation training for staff and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations
- Promote store events, seasonal promotions, and engage with local community partnerships to enhance brand presence
Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in retail or food and beverage management
- Proficiency with POS systems and scheduling software
- Strong understanding of budgeting, sales tracking, and inventory management
- Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to problem-solve and maintain a strong work ethic
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom

Experience
3+ years in retail or food and beverage management, with demonstrated success leading teams and managing operational performance in a fast-paced environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further formal education in hospitality management or business administration is advantageous.
