Role & Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and mentor coffee shop staff to uphold company standards and foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement
  • Monitor sales performance and revenue targets; manage budgets, expenses, and cash flow to ensure financial objectives are met
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, cleaning, light maintenance, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and food sanitation standards
  • Maintain high-quality standards for coffee and food preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes and preparation guidelines
  • Implement customer feedback to improve service and experience; address and resolve customer complaints promptly
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing coaching, and address improvement areas to develop team capability
  • Prepare regular reports on performance metrics, maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and payroll data
  • Promote brand values, store events, seasonal promotions, and engage with local community partnerships to enhance customer loyalty
  • Troubleshoot operational issues such as equipment malfunctions or supply shortages

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in retail or food and beverage management
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and scheduling software
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, sales tracking, and inventory management
  • Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
