Role & Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and mentor coffee shop staff to uphold company standards and foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement
  • Conduct ongoing performance reviews, provide coaching, and address improvement areas while building strong team relationships
  • Monitor sales performance and ensure revenue targets are met through strategic promotion of events and seasonal offerings
  • Manage budgets, control expenses, track cash flow, and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and payroll data
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, facility cleaning, light maintenance, and compliance with health and food sanitation standards
  • Troubleshoot operational issues including equipment malfunctions and supply shortages
  • Maintain high-quality standards for coffee and food preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes and preparation guidelines
  • Implement customer feedback to improve service and experience; address and resolve customer complaints promptly
  • Promote brand values and enhance customer loyalty through exceptional service delivery
  • Prepare regular reports on performance metrics and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations
  • Conduct safety and sanitation training for staff to maintain regulatory compliance

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in retail or food and beverage management
  • Proficiency with POS systems and scheduling software
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, sales tracking, and inventory management
  • Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and maintain a strong work ethic
  • Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
