Coffee Shop Manager at Coach (Jersey Gardens). Full-time role overseeing coffee shop operations, staff management, and customer service. $75K–$102.5K annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and mentor coffee shop staff to uphold company standards and foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement
- Conduct ongoing performance reviews, provide coaching, and address improvement areas while building strong team relationships
- Monitor sales performance and ensure revenue targets are met through strategic promotion of events and seasonal offerings
- Manage budgets, control expenses, track cash flow, and maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and payroll data
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, facility cleaning, light maintenance, and compliance with health and food sanitation standards
- Troubleshoot operational issues including equipment malfunctions and supply shortages
- Maintain high-quality standards for coffee and food preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes and preparation guidelines
- Implement customer feedback to improve service and experience; address and resolve customer complaints promptly
- Promote brand values and enhance customer loyalty through exceptional service delivery
- Prepare regular reports on performance metrics and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations
- Conduct safety and sanitation training for staff to maintain regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in retail or food and beverage management
- Proficiency with POS systems and scheduling software
- Strong understanding of budgeting, sales tracking, and inventory management
- Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to problem-solve and maintain a strong work ethic
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom

Experience
3+ years' experience in retail or food and beverage management, with proven track record of operational excellence and staff leadership in customer-facing environments.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to USD 102,500 per annum.
