Role & Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and mentor coffee shop staff to uphold company standards and brand values
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance management, conduct reviews, and address improvement areas
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, customer focus, and continuous improvement
  • Monitor sales performance and ensure revenue targets are met
  • Manage budgets, control expenses, and track cash flow
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, cleaning, and light maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food sanitation standards
  • Troubleshoot operational issues such as equipment malfunctions or supply shortages
  • Maintain high-quality standards for coffee and food preparation and adherence to recipes
  • Implement customer feedback to improve service and experience
  • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, payroll, and other performance data
  • Prepare regular reports on performance metrics and financial performance
  • Conduct safety and sanitation training for staff

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in retail or food and beverage management
  • Proficiency with POS systems and scheduling software
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, sales tracking, and inventory management
  • Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and maintain a strong work ethic
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom

Experience
