Coach Barista (Part-Time) in Austin, Texas – $15–$18/hr. Guest engagement, beverage preparation, sales, and team collaboration.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests warmly, creating memorable and personalized experiences throughout their visit
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, merchandise assortment, and Coach brand heritage to inform guest interactions
- Meet sales objectives by promoting beverages, food items, and merchandise; customize orders and highlight limited-availability items
- Support floor sets, merchandise replenishment, and visual merchandising initiatives to maintain brand standards
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety compliance, and operational standards; operate espresso machines, grinders, and ovens to prepare handcrafted beverages
- Collaborate with team members to solve operational problems and share effective selling strategies
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista or in a café setting
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles
- Demonstrated ability to work with food and beverage operating systems
- Ability to comply with store operating policies, food safety regulations, and cash handling procedures
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom environments

Experience
Prior barista or café experience preferred; demonstrated background in customer-facing roles with experience delegating tasks and working collaboratively in fast-paced retail environments.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
