Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver refined, guest-centric service that reflects the Coach brand and enhances the in-store experience.
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and specialty beverages to prescribed recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders and related café equipment; perform routine maintenance and calibrations.
- Manage point-of-sale transactions, accurate cash handling and daily till reconciliation.
- Maintain cleanliness and order of the café and adjacent retail space, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and replenish inventory for coffee, milk, disposables and back-stock; communicate stock needs to store management.
- Collaborate with retail colleagues on traffic flow, merchandising standards and special events involving the café.
- Train and mentor new barista colleagues on service standards, beverage preparation and store procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous barista or café experience preferred; demonstrable skill operating espresso equipment and milk steaming.
- Valid local food handler's permit or ServSafe certification preferred where required by local regulation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on personalised guest engagement.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to typical stock weights and work flexible schedules including weekends and evenings.

Entry-level role; 0–2 years of experience in coffee preparation, café service or hospitality preferred. Prior exposure to luxury retail or high-service environments is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; formal hospitality education is a plus but not required.
