Coach in Glendale, AZ seeks a Part-time Barista to prepare handcrafted beverages, drive sales and uphold food safety. $15–$18/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences through warm greeting, attentive service and personalised beverage recommendations.
- Prepare handcrafted espresso-based beverages and food items using espresso machines, grinders and ovens while maintaining product consistency.
- Drive sales by promoting beverages, food and merchandise; customise orders and highlight limited-availability items to meet targets.
- Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation by supporting floor sets, replenishment and stockroom organisation.
- Adhere to operational standards including cleanliness, food safety, cash handling and use of food & beverage operating systems.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve service issues, share selling strategies and support peak-period operations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista or in a café setting preferred.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles and basic task delegation.
- Ability to comply with food safety, cash handling and store operating policies.
- Capacity to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and high-traffic retail days.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience
Prior barista or café experience is preferred; candidates should have demonstrable customer-facing experience and familiarity with food & beverage service operations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
