Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve espresso-based and specialty beverages to Coach clients and guests with consistent quality and presentation.
  • Deliver a refined, client-centric experience aligned with Coach’s luxury retail standards, including personalized service and attentive hospitality.
  • Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders and accessory equipment; perform routine cleaning and daily maintenance checks.
  • Manage point-of-sale transactions, cash handling and accurate order processing in a high-volume boutique setting.
  • Maintain café and back-of-house cleanliness, adhere to food safety procedures and ensure compliance with local health regulations.
  • Support inventory management for coffee, perishable supplies and smallwares; communicate low-stock items to store leadership.
  • Assist with in-store events and client hospitality initiatives, collaborating closely with retail staff to elevate the in-store experience.
  • Follow opening and closing procedures, including equipment start-up/shutdown, waste disposal and end-of-day reconciliation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of barista or hospitality experience; experience in premium, boutique or luxury environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service with a polished, professional manner appropriate for a luxury brand.
  • Ability to operate commercial espresso equipment and prepare a range of coffee beverages to standard.
  • Reliable attendance and flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends, evenings and peak shopping periods.
  • Basic numeracy for cash handling and POS transactions; strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Food safety certification preferred where required by local regulation.
