Coach in New York seeks a Lead Supervisor — retail supervisory role focused on sales leadership, clienteling and store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations to achieve sales targets and KPIs, maintaining a strong emphasis on client experience and conversion.
- Supervise, coach and develop sales associates; provide ongoing feedback, training and performance management to elevate team capability.
- Drive proactive clienteling and CRM activities to build long-term customer relationships and maximize repeat business.
- Ensure execution of visual merchandising standards, store presentation and seasonal floor sets in line with brand directives.
- Manage inventory controls, stock replenishment, loss-prevention practices and accurate point-of-sale transactions.
- Support scheduling, shift supervision, opening/closing procedures and ad hoc administrative tasks in the manager’s absence.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in a retail environment with demonstrated ability to coach and motivate sales teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; polished client-facing presence appropriate for luxury retail.
- Solid organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational rigor (inventory, cash handling, visual standards).
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and peak holiday periods; ability to work retail hours.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of employment.

Experience
Typically 2+ years of retail experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role, preferably within luxury or premium fashion brands, demonstrating a track record of driving sales and developing team performance.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management or related field preferred.
