Coach (Tapestry) in Aurora, Illinois is hiring a Sales Support Associate (part-time) at Chicago Premium Outlets; provide POS, stockroom and client support.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet clients with warmth and professionalism and provide personalized assistance on the sales floor.
  • Operate POS and Mobile POS systems accurately; maintain cash wrap organization and handle cash/media in accordance with company policy.
  • Receive, process and organize incoming shipments and inter-store transfers; report inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor, and maintain stockroom cleanliness and organisation.
  • Execute visual merchandising updates and ensure product presentation aligns with brand standards.
  • Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted.
  • Support sales floor activities, respond to customer requests, and escalate to management as needed.
  • Adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines and maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store.
  • Serve as a local brand ambassador and support store-level social media engagement when required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of prior retail experience (cashiering, stockroom, or sales); luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Current knowledge of fashion trends and marketplace competition.
  • Familiarity with cash register systems and basic computer skills; ability to use iPad, laptop, Mobile POS and internet-based tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational ability and capacity to multitask in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (occasionally up to 50 lbs), and to bend, climb and manoeuvre in the sales floor and stockroom.

Experience

At least 1 year of retail experience performing cashier, stockroom or customer-facing sales duties; prior exposure to luxury or premium retail environments is preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
