Coach (Tapestry) in Vaughan, Ontario seeks a Sales Support Associate to manage POS, stockroom and customer service at Vaughan Mills.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs and delivering personalised service.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, maintain an organised cash wrap and handle cash/media in compliance with company policy.
  • Receive, process and organise inbound shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom order and cleanliness.
  • Manage merchandise flow: replenish the sales floor, execute visual merchandising updates and support planned floor moves.
  • Drive incremental sales by suggesting add-on products, promoting gift cards and capturing customer information where permitted.
  • Support sales floor activities, promptly respond to customer requests and collaborate with colleagues and management to meet service objectives.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines; perform regular physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably in a luxury retail environment; combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace activity.
  • Familiarity with cash register systems and basic computer competency (including iPad/Mobile POS and Internet).
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service communication skills; strong English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre throughout the sales floor and stockroom.

Experience

At least 1 year of retail experience required, ideally including cashier or stockroom duties in a luxury or premium retail setting. Experience with POS operations and in-store merchandising preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of relevant education and retail experience will be considered.

This position is based in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, within easy reach of Toronto.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
