Coach (Tapestry) in Chicago seeks a part‑time Sales Associate at 444 N. Michigan Ave to deliver luxury retail service and omni‑channel selling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the front‑line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering an elevated, personalized luxury shopping experience aligned with the Coach Guide to Style and Service.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and proactive follow‑up to drive repeat purchases and lifetime value.
- Achieve individual and store sales KPIs through cross‑selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans.
- Leverage omni‑channel tools — Mobile POS, clienteling platforms and social/short‑form video — to capture client data and convert engagement into sales.
- Execute daily store operations including cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receiving and replenishment.
- Maintain visual merchandising and stockroom standards; support asset protection and adhere to retail policies and POS procedures.
- Adapt selling techniques to floor traffic, manage multiple customers, assist teammates across functions and participate in brand trainings and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Proficient with POS operations and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop); experience with Mobile POS devices and clienteling tools preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work at a fast pace and perform physical tasks (regularly lift ~25 lb, occasionally up to 50 lb; climb, bend, kneel and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom).
- Strong English language proficiency required.
- Social media savvy with experience in social selling, short‑form video or live‑stream shopping and data acquisition is preferred.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of customer‑facing sales experience, preferably in luxury retail or fashion, with demonstrated success against individual sales targets and familiarity with omni‑channel selling.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
