Coach Client Experience Cashier
Coach in New York is hiring a Cashier II to manage POS transactions and provide elevated client service in a luxury boutique.

Role & Responsibilities
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently, processing cash, card, gift card and mobile payments while maintaining an impeccable presentation.
- Deliver elevated client service consistent with luxury-brand standards, including personalized greetings, discreet problem resolution, and proactive assistance.
- Manage returns, exchanges and adjustments in accordance with store policy and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Perform daily cash-handling duties: open/close cash drawer, reconcile tills, prepare deposits and report discrepancies promptly.
- Support loss-prevention protocols and uphold compliance with cash controls, receipts, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with sales associates and management to ensure seamless handoffs, clienteling follow-up and tailored product recommendations.
- Maintain boutique merchandising and presentation standards, assist with visual merchandising resets and ensure stock at point of sale is accurate.
- Undertake opening/closing procedures, including store readiness checks and basic administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Proven reliability, integrity and experience handling cash and payments in a retail environment.
- Polished interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver discreet, high-touch customer service.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail for accurate cash reconciliation and transaction processing.
- Availability to work flexible retail hours including weekends, evenings and peak holiday periods.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a boutique environment.
- Comfort with routine store procedures, basic inventory tasks and adherence to security protocols.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and other pre-employment screenings where applicable.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–2 years of cashiering or retail experience; prior experience in premium or luxury retail is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail or hospitality is advantageous.
