Coach is hiring a part‑time Sales Associate in Chicago, IL. Join Coach at 444 N. Michigan Ave to deliver luxury client service and omni‑channel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a front‑line ambassador for the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalised luxury service aligned with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Build and sustain lasting client relationships through personalised styling, product expertise and proactive follow‑up to drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and store KPIs by executing personal sales plans, cross‑selling, upselling and tailored recommendations.
- Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short‑form video) to capture client data, convert traffic and support omni‑channel sales.
- Execute day‑to‑day store operations: cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receiving and replenishment.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, keep the sales floor and stockroom organised, and comply with retail policies, POS procedures and asset protection.
- Support inventory cycles and stock movement, assist teammates across functional tasks and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Participate in brand trainings, inclusion initiatives and provide constructive openness to feedback while maintaining a calm, professional demeanour.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
- Practical experience with POS operation and basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS); familiarity with clienteling tools and data capture.
- Proven social selling aptitude—experience with short‑form video, live‑stream shopping or video demos is advantageous.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak retail seasons and public holidays.
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and safely navigate the sales floor and stockroom.
- Strong English language proficiency.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of retail sales experience is required; prior luxury retail background preferred. Demonstrated success meeting sales targets and using clienteling or omni‑channel tools is advantageous.
Education
No specific degree required; a combination of relevant retail education and practical sales experience is acceptable.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
