Coach in Troy, MI is hiring a part-time Sales Associate to deliver luxury client experiences, omni-channel selling and meet store sales targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador of the brand, delivering elevated, personalised luxury service in accordance with Coach style and service standards.
- Develop and maintain lasting client relationships through styling advice, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat purchases.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets by prospecting new customers, cross-selling, upselling and executing personal sales plans.
- Sell across channels using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture client data and convert engagement into sales.
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple client interactions, and adapt selling techniques to changing business needs.
- Execute daily store operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), manage cash wrap and POS, receive and process inventory, and keep visual merchandising standards.
- Support inventory cycles and loss-prevention procedures: receive shipments, restock, organise stockroom and follow asset protection policies.
- Collaborate with teammates, assist across functional areas, and contribute to a trust-based, performance-oriented environment.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities; accept feedback and adapt behaviours while maintaining a professional demeanour.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to meet sales KPIs and deliver personalised client experiences.
- Proficiency with POS operation and mobile selling tools (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS); experience with clienteling tools and social selling is preferred.
- Physically able to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre throughout the sales floor and stockroom.
- Strong English language proficiency.

Experience
At least 1 year of retail sales experience is required; prior luxury retail experience and demonstrated success in clienteling, omni-channel selling or social commerce are strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
