Coach is hiring a Part‑time Sales Associate (Tigard, OR) to deliver luxury client service and drive in-store sales at Washington Square.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering an elevated, personalized shopping experience that adheres to Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and store sales KPIs through cross-selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans.
- Use mobile POS and clienteling tools to capture client data, process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups) and support omni‑channel fulfilment.
- Leverage social selling and short-form video or live-stream demonstrations to engage audiences and acquire new customers.
- Perform daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, visual merchandising and stockroom management.
- Maintain a clean, organized and well-stocked sales floor; follow asset-protection and retail policies.
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves and managing product movement; assist teammates across functional areas as required.
- Demonstrate physical readiness for the role (regularly lift 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs) and maintain a calm, professional demeanour under pressure.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience operating POS systems and mobile POS; comfortable using iPad/laptop and walkie‑talkie.
- Proven clienteling and data acquisition skills; social media savvy with experience in short-form video, live-stream shopping or video demos preferred.
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule — nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays — and to meet store staffing needs.

Experience
Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; prior luxury or premium retail experience is strongly preferred. Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets and building client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework or training in retail, fashion, or customer service is a plus. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

This position is based in Tigard, Oregon, USA, within easy reach of Portland.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
