Coach seeks a Sales Associate in Shanghai (Daimaru Department Store) to deliver luxury client service and exceed retail sales targets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary client service to affluent and aspirational customers, cultivating long-term client relationships and repeat business.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets through consultative selling, clienteling and proactive outreach.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, process payments and handle cash and receipts in accordance with store procedures.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards: ensure displays, product presentation and stock placement reflect brand guidelines and seasonal directives.
  • Support inventory management activities including stock replenishment, cycle counts and receiving inbound merchandise.
  • Adhere to loss-prevention, health & safety and company policy, and contribute to a secure, compliant retail environment.
  • Collaborate with the store team on store openings, events, promotions and daily operational tasks to ensure a superior guest experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, fashion or hospitality advantageous.
  • Proven retail sales experience, preferably within luxury, premium or fashion brands.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented demeanour.
  • Demonstrable ability to meet sales KPIs and work to targets in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Flexible availability including weekends, public holidays and peak retail periods; legal right to work in China.

Experience

Entry-level to 2 years of retail sales experience, with preference for candidates who have worked in luxury or premium fashion environments and who can demonstrate measurable sales results.

High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary or vocational training in retail, fashion or hospitality preferred.
