Coach in Schaumburg, IL is hiring a part‑time Sales Associate to deliver personalized luxury retail service and drive omni‑channel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the front‑line ambassador for the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized shopping experiences consistent with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and proactive follow‑up to drive repeat purchases and lifetime value.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets via cross‑selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans and KPIs.
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short‑form video and live demos) to capture customer data and convert engagements to sales.
- Execute daily store operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), manage cash wrap, receive and replenish inventory, and maintain visual merchandising standards.
- Maintain merchandise presentation and stockroom organization; adhere to POS, asset protection and retail policy procedures.
- Support team performance through collaboration, coaching, and participation in brand initiatives and training programs.
- Adapt selling techniques to high‑traffic environments and manage multiple customers while preserving service standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail background preferred.
- Proven ability to operate POS systems and basic retail technology (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS); comfortable using walkie‑talkies and reading price/release sheets.
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays as business needs require.
- Physical ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and kneel.
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Social‑media savvy, with experience in short‑form video, live‑stream shopping or video demos and clienteling preferred.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of sales experience; previous luxury or premium retail experience is preferred. Demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets and using clienteling or digital selling tools is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

This position is based in Schaumburg, Illinois, USA, within easy reach of Chicago.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
