Coach Sales Associate (part-time) in Petaluma, CA — front-line luxury retail role at Coach/Tapestry focused on omni‑channel client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized service in accordance with Coach standards.
- Build and sustain client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and store sales goals through cross-selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans; meet or exceed KPIs.
- Sell across channels using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to capture client data and convert sales.
- Perform daily store operations including cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receiving and replenishment.
- Maintain merchandise presentation and visual merchandising standards; keep sales floor and stockroom organized and compliant with asset protection procedures.
- Support team members across functional areas, participate in brand initiatives and training, and contribute to a collaborative, trust-based environment.
- Adapt selling techniques to changing business needs while maintaining professional composure on the sales floor.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient with POS operation and mobile POS devices (iPad/laptop); comfortable using walkie-talkies and reading price/release sheets.
- Strong English language proficiency required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend and maneuver within sales floor and stockroom.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of retail sales experience is required; prior experience in luxury retail, clienteling and omni‑channel selling is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional retail, fashion or customer service training advantageous.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
