Coach is hiring a part-time Sales Associate in Oxon Hill, Maryland (National Harbor) to deliver luxury retail service and omni-channel selling.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front-line ambassador for the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalised service in accordance with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Build and sustain client relationships through styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business and loyalty.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and executing personal sales plans and KPIs.
  • Utilise mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to capture customer data and convert omnichannel interactions into sales.
  • Perform daily store operations including cash wrap tasks, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receiving, replenishment and visual merchandising.
  • Maintain a well-organised, safe and fully stocked sales floor and stockroom; adhere to POS, asset protection and retail policies.
  • Support inventory cycles and assist teammates across functional areas to ensure smooth store operations.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities; accept feedback and adapt behaviour while maintaining a calm, professional demeanour.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency operating POS systems and mobile devices (iPad/laptop); familiarity with mobile POS and clienteling tools.
  • Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre the sales floor and stockroom.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
  • Comfortable working a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.

Experience

At least 1 year of customer-facing sales experience, preferably within luxury retail or fashion; experience with omnichannel selling, clienteling and social or live-stream selling is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
