Coach (Tapestry) seeks a part-time Sales Associate in Ottawa, Canada to deliver personalised luxury retail service and drive omni-channel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador of the brand, delivering elevated, personalised luxury service in accordance with Coach style and service standards.
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships through personalised styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to capture customer data and convert omnichannel opportunities.
- Manage multiple customers on the sales floor while maintaining high energy and professional service standards.
- Perform daily operational tasks including transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory processing, replenishment and visual merchandising.
- Support inventory cycles: receive shipments, stock shelves and manage product movement between sales floor and stockroom.
- Maintain store and stockroom organisation and adherence to retail policies, POS procedures and asset protection protocols.
- Assist teammates across functional areas, foster a collaborative environment and participate in brand initiatives and training programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of retail sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Proven ability to meet sales KPIs and execute personal sales plans.
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop); experience using mobile POS and walkie-talkies.
- Clienteling aptitude and comfort with social selling, live-stream or video demonstrations preferred.
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) and to perform routine physical tasks on the sales floor.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of sales experience in retail; prior luxury retail experience and demonstrated success against sales metrics are strongly preferred.
Education
No specific degree required; a combination of relevant education and retail experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
