Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards and brand values
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, fashion advice, and tailored recommendations
  • Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and data-informed recommendations across all customer touchpoints
  • Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, social selling platforms, and short-form video content to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personalized sales plans; consistently meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships, and execute strategic follow-up to close sales and build client loyalty
  • Maintain high energy and engagement on the sales floor while managing multiple customers simultaneously; adapt selling techniques to evolving business needs
  • Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap management, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while upholding service standards
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked sales floor and stockroom; adhere to retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
  • Process transactions efficiently, including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement throughout the store
  • Assist teammates across functional areas as required to ensure seamless store operations
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment; encourage peer performance and collective success
  • Participate actively in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities aligned with company values
  • Welcome constructive feedback, adapt behaviors accordingly, and maintain composure and professionalism in all interactions

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred; knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and mobile POS technology; basic computer competency on iPad and laptop platforms
  • Ability to work efficiently at a fast pace in a retail environment
  • Physical capability to lift and carry merchandise regularly (minimum 25 lbs; up to 50 lbs occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom spaces
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Social media acumen and familiarity with short-form video platforms
  • Experience with clienteling systems and customer data acquisition
  • Availability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, peak seasons, and retail holidays
