Coach seeks a part-time Sales Associate in New York, NY (685 Fifth Ave). Hourly pay $15.00–$24.25.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a front-line ambassador, delivering elevated, personalized shopping experiences consistent with Coach brand and service standards.
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships through styling, product knowledge, and tailored recommendations to drive loyalty and repeat business.
  • Achieve personal and store sales targets via cross-selling, upselling and execution of individual sales plans; contribute to team KPIs.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to capture customer data and convert opportunities.
  • Perform daily store operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), manage cash wrap, and execute inventory cycles.
  • Maintain merchandising standards, keep sales floor and stockroom organized and stocked, and follow asset‑protection and POS procedures.
  • Support teammates across functional areas, foster a collaborative team environment, and participate in brand training and inclusion initiatives.
  • Adapt selling techniques to dynamic store traffic and maintain professional composure while managing multiple customers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated proficiency operating POS systems and mobile POS on devices such as iPad and laptops.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
  • Social media savvy with experience or interest in live‑stream shopping, short‑form video demos and social selling (preferred).
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (occasional lifts up to 50 lbs), climb, bend, kneel and maneuver in a retail environment.
