Coach is hiring a Part‑time Sales Associate in Kansas City, Kansas — deliver luxury retail service for the Tapestry brand.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front‑line ambassador of the Coach brand, upholding the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Deliver elevated, personalized styling and product advice to build lasting client relationships and brand loyalty.
  • Drive individual and store sales through cross‑selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans to meet KPIs.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short‑form video) to capture customer data, process transactions and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Perform daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and basic visual merchandising while maintaining service standards.
  • Receive shipments, stock merchandise, support inventory cycles and keep sales floor and stockroom organized and compliant with asset protection procedures.
  • Manage simultaneous customer interactions on the sales floor with high energy and adaptability to business needs.
  • Support teammates across functional areas, participate in brand initiatives and training programs, and foster a collaborative, trust‑based environment.
  • Accept and act on feedback; maintain a calm, professional demeanor and comply with ADA accommodation processes as required.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role (regularly lift at least 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs; climbing, bending and kneeling as required).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and execute personal sales plans.
  • Experience operating POS systems and basic computer proficiency (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS); ability to read price/release sheets.
  • Familiarity with clienteling, data acquisition and social selling; experience with live‑stream shopping or video demos preferred.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks required by retail operations, including regular lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting to 50 lbs.

Experience

At least one year of retail sales experience; luxury retail experience and demonstrated success meeting sales KPIs are strongly preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
