Coach Sales Associate in Howell, Michigan — part-time retail role delivering personalised luxury service and omni-channel selling.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front-line ambassador for the Coach brand, consistently delivering elevated, personalized service in accordance with Coach style and service standards.
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships through styling advice, product expertise, and proactive follow-up to drive repeat purchases.
  • Drive sales performance via cross-selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans to meet individual and store KPIs.
  • Operate mobile POS and in-store technology to process transactions, capture client data, and fulfil omni-channel orders (returns, exchanges, online pickups).
  • Leverage clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to source new customers and support live-stream or video demonstrations.
  • Perform daily store operations: cash wrap duties, inventory processing, replenishment, receiving shipments, visual merchandising and maintaining salesfloor/stockroom standards.
  • Support team objectives by assisting across functional areas, fostering a collaborative and trust-based environment, and participating in brand initiatives and training.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Proven ability to operate POS systems and mobile devices (iPad/laptop/mobile POS); familiarity with walkie-talkie communications and reading price/release sheets.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Able to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and manoeuvre throughout the salesfloor and stockroom.
  • Strong English language proficiency required; social media savvy and clienteling/data-acquisition skills preferred.

Experience

At least 1 year of retail sales experience; prior luxury retail experience or demonstrable clienteling and social-selling experience is preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
